There was a time, as recently as the 1980s, when storefronts, murals, banners, barn signs, billboards, and even street signs were all hand-lettered with brush and paint. While technology has changed all of that, we are one of the few sign shops around that still paints by hand.
When you're seeking that classic look that can only come from the human touch, there is no substitute for a hand-painted sign or wall graphic. We pride ourselves on embodying the passion and craftsmanship that sign painting demands. After you approve the design, we arrive with large paper patterns to transfer chalk outlines to the wall to make sure everything looks just like the scaled production proof.
Sandblasted signs are also still hand painted in our shop. If you are interested in a sign that features a sand-blasted natural wood grain with dimension, this may be a good option for you. We paint many of our signs in some fashion, but occasionally we still bring out the old fitch and chalk pattern for some hand lettering.
